Korean Pink Make Up

As the title says, let's talk about Korean Make Up that really booming right now. Who doesn't know South Korea now?? I remembered, first time Korea came to my country Indonesia when drama TV Full House  aired in one of private TV channel. I didn't watch that drama, but almost all my friends and my neighborhood , even the my mom friend's watched it! And I remembered about Boys Before Flower, (and I watched it!) even my parents did. If I AM the girl in that drama, I guess you all want to be the girl cast, yap the cliche dream as a girl. And the one that so memorable is De Janggeum as known as Jewel in The Palace. Love that drama, even my heart still beating when hear about that drama again (too much). Loves the place they taken, the story, the main character, and how they all still look beautiful even without wearing make up except lipbalm.

And so K-Pop, with the flawless skin, natural and fresh make up look, and the perfect look with the skinny body they gave us to watch that gave me a goosebump. Well well, let's take enough with the South Korea take a control of our world market, let's move on to my Korean Pink Make Up

               It's really easy to make this make up look, and I'm an amateur for a person that doing make up, even I just watch make up tutorial on YouTube to learn it. This was taken when I am still a beginner for touching a complete step make up stuff. And yap! I was amazed with my "beginner skill."

So, in this photo, we (me and my friend, Fitri) had idea to play make up with the same concept like Ga In in a cover of Dazed Korean Magazine. If you're really a K-Popers, you will know who is Ga In, she's one of girl that featuring in Psy MV with the title Gentleman.

               Oke, Let's begin with the details on how to make up like this. From hair, the bang as usual, Korean people loves to do with cute concept, so the bang I curled and made me a bit cute like in photo. Just let it open space by space, not covered forehead that makes you like a Bety Lavea look. Eheh *Shaking my head

               For the foundation, I chose a light color tone, because we know that Korean people are having a pale skin. Also cover with the foundation all our uncovered skin so it'll made us look like a non fake pale skin look (too busy right?). And for the eyebrow, Korean people loves to wear a light eyebrow color that match with their hair, so it will give us a natural eyebrow look, not like a bold American eyebrow look, or even The Sinchan eyebrow look that give us the caterpillar eyebrow look (BIG NO NO).

               For the tutorial on my eye, I made the light one so my eyes look small, so I just use light pink eyeshadow and at the corner of my eyes I give the bold eyeshadow, all pink because of the name of the concept was pink. I you can see at the corner of my eyes that near my nose I wear white eyeshadow to make my eyes look 3D. For the eyeliner, I just take the brown eyeliner and draw the small amount just under my eyelash, so it will give me a natural small eyes look. Don't forget to wear fake eyelash that not too thick and long lashes, just the natural fake eyelashes.

               If you can see at my face, I just gave contour at my nose near the eye, this is the trick that will gave your nose look pointed. Also at my lower jaw, so it'll give me a pointed look face. I didn't use contour at my cheek bone, because I want to look more like Asian look rather than thick American make up.

               Blush on is the important thing on this make up, because with just a blush it will change all the type of our style make up. So, you all already know right if we can use lipstick as a blush? Before I tap face powder, I smear red lipstick on my cheekbone, and I tap a light tone of face powder, after that I give the real blush on my check that near the corner of my eyes. The blush that I use is Silky Girl shimmering duo blusher 02, the pink one. This blush already has the highlight on it at it has the shimmering effect (as the name). It's a local product from Indonesia.

               Finally we move to the end of step in make up. LIPSEEEUUUTICKK. FYI, I love playing with lipstick, I almost have all color except for blue, green, yellow, or black (I'm not that a heavy metal girl). I just wear the simple lipstick on here, do not wear a bold lipstick in this kind of make up, because I already wear a thick blush and the concept is a cute Korean, so I just wear a gradation lipstick style as Korean did. I smear the light peach lipstick all over my lips, and adding the bold pink lipstick at my inner lips, and after that, coated it with transparent lipgloss. And as the closing, give a highlighter at the upper of lips, so it will give the 3D and sexy look lips.
